From the streets of Paris, see what people are wearing to the shows... it's been a while since I've done a street style post on here, but I always seem to find inspiration when the Paris shows are on. Enjoy...

Hungarian designer Nóra Sármán and Pinewood Weddings presented their first joint work, titled the Peak of Romance at art gallery Higgs Field on Monday January 26th. Sármán and Pinewood's collaboration is designed to allow the audience gain a different perspective on the ideals of love. The wedding dresses hung from the ceiling and gently moved as you walked past, revealing the intimate details of the lace and intricate beading along the back.
I've been acquainted with Nóra Sármán's designs at the Marie Claire Fashion Days this past year and absolutely fell in love with her designs. Check out that post HERE.
During the evening, guests could get a close glimpse at the details and design of the beautiful pieces of clothing, photo slideshows and live through the romantic journey of the Super8 film screening. Watch below to see the behind the scenes shooting from a great height.

I went for a walk to get some fresh air and I was excited because it was snowing outside! I stumbled upon a new artisan macarons & cake cafe which is super adorable! I couldn't help but stop and take photos of their window display, and then of course, get some macarons! CHEZ DODO is located on Sas utca 7, right around the corner from the Basilica, and they bake the macarons and cakes right in front of their customers. It is always wonderful to have a taste of the French pastry in Budapest...
From the minimalist style, to the black and white colour pallette, the combination of simplistic art, smooth flow throughout the home and peaceful atmosphere, the Henrik Bus Art House is at the top of my home inspiration dream list. This home was created by using Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk 3ds Max 2013 and Chaos Group V-Ray Adv 2.30 ... which means that it does not actually exit. The HBAH only exists within the computer screen and on the mind of the designer. It is a 3D visualization project created by Jeffrey Faranial, who works in the architecture and interior design field. He was inspired by an image on the cover of Living Etc Magazine and decided to create a space where he envisioned a library in his home which he could enjoy in his spare time. He challenged himself to create the idea of a home which would incorporate "raw-looking wood, good lighting, simple composition and (would have to focus on creating) details like the texture and the fur". The process to create this art house are outlined in the link HERE. If you are interested in architecture, design, home staging or interior styling, this is definitely something to look at and get inspired by.
Maddie Ziegler, 12 year old Dance Mom's dancing sensation has been spotted in Kode Magazine wearing Dora Abodi! Maddie is wearing the Hungarian designer's white silk pemplum shirt. Take a look at the photos and the videos below... :)
I visited the Je Suis Belle pop up store today on Andrassy avenue, in Budapest, Hungary. The designers, Tibi and Dalma, have their Fall/Winter 14 designs on sale and are showcasing their Spring/Summer 15 designs at the Ivan Fischer Home Theatre. With a beautiful view of the Opera house from the window, the Ivan Fischer apartment is normally used as a lecture theatre and also features beautiful art. This quiet location was transformed into a boudoir-esque room, with deep purple draping and Parisian music playing softly in the background; making the room feel very rich, elegant and a step away from the busy streets down below.
Of course, I tried on a few of my favourites... from the F/W14 collection...
ME: "Where might one wear this dress? Or better yet, where do you envision this dress being worn, Tibor?"
TIBOR: "Anywhere and everywhere!"
ME: "Aha, so, on the streets of Budapest. Getting coffee at Starbucks? Getting groceries at Tesco?"
TIBOR: "Yes! Exactly. Better yet, the big vasar (market). Just absolutely anywhere!" ME: "Why not. A dress doesn't need a special occasion. Just perhaps I will need someone to hold the train for me so that I don't sweep up the dirt from the streets of Budapest."
I love it. Tibor, you crack me up! Funny guy!
The S/S15 collection... THIS DRESS! <3
Tibi, thank you for welcoming me to the pop-up store and I look forward to seeing you at fashion week :)
