CABIN FEVER

My good friend had her birthday yesterday and invited us to her family's cabin in the woods, in the countryside, just outside of London Ontario. It was a beautiful, sunny day, filled with warmth from the fire, a relaxing atmosphere, good food and company. Happy Birthday Megan darling! :)

LAKE ERIE

 We took a drive to the little town of Erieau, where I've spent many summers hanging out on the beach. Lake Erie has always been a family destination for us and this was one of the things I really wanted to do while at home for the holidays. It was absolutely quiet, the lake goes on for miles and you can walk out to the lighthouse and listen to the waves crashing up against the shore. A relaxing way to spend 'boxing day' and a beautiful 10 degrees Celsius here... no snow in sight yet...

Introducing my little sister, Roxanne into the blogosphere! I'm so happy to be home and hanging out with her and we collaborated on this street style post together. This is down by our Thames River, yes, just like the one in England... but it is in our small hometown in Ontario, Canada. It was a windy day and the hat kept blowing up and away. Either way, she's my stunning beauty!

WINTER GLOW

Winter Glow Face Mask by justyna-malwina-b featuring H&M

Interested in getting that 'glow' this season? With the seasons changing, our skin becomes dull and you can either go out and buy a scrub or you can easily make one at home with 3 simple ingredients. I used: brown sugar, bio-organic honey and virgin olive oil. That's it! Mix them together in a cup and create a paste. I used 2 tbsp of honey, 1 tbsp of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Once mixed into a paste, use a small amount on your face (or body) and scrub away. You can also leave it on your face for a bit, like a mask and then wash off with warm water after 10 minutes.

You can also put it into a container and use it for the next couple of days!

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING

Thursday night was the Bridget & Olivia Christmas shopping party and official release of the Christmas Edition collection. The designers, Dora and Timea, did a fantastic job decorating the showroom in true Bridget & Olivia style with simple stars, made by new paper installation company Moondo, in their fall/winter collection colours, children's Christmas letters and wishes hanging in the window and amazing chocolate cake pops (which I just devoured and could.not.stop.eating!!). NEROLI

I've been searching for diptyque parfum in Budapest since I've moved here and I stumbled across Neroli last week and saw that they sell the amazing French collection of fragrances! Made a stop in the shop today and got the solid perfume in DO SON. 

Neroli is the first domestic luxury perfume shop in Budapest, having been open for 10 years, located on Régi posta utca 19. Neroli carries luxury brands such as Creed, Amouage, the mysterious oud oil Montale, and the French cult brand, diptyque.  Not only do they carry a selection of famous perfumes, Neroli also houses the high tech REN clean skincare line, the Japanese original pure Konjac facial sponges (I have the bamboo charcoal one), the 'royal hair care' line of brushes made by Kent, unique makeup by Rouge Bunny Rouge, traditional shaving accessories and special brushes by Edwin Jagger for the gents.
