The glass island of Venice
A short boat ride away from Venice took us to a quieter island, where we spent a few hours walking around visiting museums and shops. While on the island of Murano, you can visit famous glass factories and watch how the glass is blown into amazing creations. We also visited the Mazzega Murano glass factory, where we had a special tour displaying all the glass techniques which were made over the centuries.
