We took a drive to the little town of Erieau, where I've spent many summers hanging out on the beach. Lake Erie has always been a family destination for us and this was one of the things I really wanted to do while at home for the holidays. It was absolutely quiet, the lake goes on for miles and you can walk out to the lighthouse and listen to the waves crashing up against the shore. A relaxing way to spend 'boxing day' and a beautiful 10 degrees Celsius here... no snow in sight yet...
