SONYA IS HERE!!!

I'm super happy today because my lovely friend Sonya has made it all the way from Canada to come visit me for the next 3 weeks! Woop! I am excited to show her around Budapest and spend quality time with my bestie :) We had a relaxed afternoon/evening ... can't wait for more outings!

Hair Tutorial

If you also spend over an hour curling your hair like me, then you know that a) it can be quite a good workout for your arms and b) that it is so tedious and you wish you had a quicker way to curl that damn hair! I have a tutorial on how to get your hair from straight to bouncy curls within 10 minutes! Read on...

Start with clean, dry hair and brush it out

 Brush your hair up into a high pony tail 

 Depending on the thickness of your curling rod/iron and the thickness of your hair, you will need to separate your hair into sections to curl. 

I split my hair into 8 sections to get the desired look.

Take your pony tail out, comb your fingers through your hair and voila! 

So much happiness since it didn't take forever. Just 10 minutes. Now your turn! Go!

City Matiné

There's nothing like heading to the pool during the hot summer months and my friends and I did just that this weekend. We went to a City Matiné party at Csillaghegy pool which is just outside of the city centre when you take the HEV (train which goes to Szentendre) from Margit Hid/Buda Hid. The music was great for chilling out and dancing to. The theme was 'Indiantanc' and some people decided to dress up in Native style clothing, wearing head dresses from feathers and added body paint. I'm looking forward to the next one!
