Did you watch the H&M live stream fashion show debuting the Autumn/Winter collection for 2014-15? Perhaps you were one of the lucky chosen who had a front row invitation! Either way, it was a cool experience and something that I have not done before! I was watching the timer counting down and was re-living the anxiety of waiting for a fashion show to start. I snapped a few pictures, obviously not the best quality - but the best I could get from a live stream! Enjoy!

I am absolutely in LOVE with this eye ball print for the season. I am seeing them everywhere!

The Jenners

 The moment Kendall Jenner stepped out on the runway during NYFW 2014, the 18 year old has been on the tip of everyone's tongue in fashion. She modeled for Marc Jacobs  and caused an alarm by showing 'too much' under a see-through top. Kendall was then seen sitting front row, next to Anna Wintour (!!!) at the Topshop show in London, which caused more buzz for her modelling career. Both sisters Kendall and Kylie (16), are being featured in the March issue of Mexican Marie Claire and it definitely sheds a new light on the Kardashian name. I think they look stunning! I have spent quite a few hours glued to the TV watching the Kardashian's show and have been watching these two young, beautiful girls grow into women. I am intrigued to see what other collaborations they work with next!

Budapest's Whale

Sick day number 7. I can't believe that I am still fighting off this flu/cold/virus, but I decided to go out for some much needed fresh air, since I spent the whole day in bed yesterday. Gah! What a waste of a day! While walking along the Danube in Budapest, you can’t miss noticing the huge glass building between Liberty and Petőfi bridge on the Pest side. It is called the 'Bálna', meaning 'whale', referring to its shape. It opened it's doors in October 2013, and I was curious to see what this whale was all about. It houses cafes and restaurants (I can already see this being a bustling place in the summer), the Budapest Gallery, a bio market, cultural events and fairs.

Still, many of the office spaces are empty; waiting to be filled. Is anyone interested in opening their business here? It's definitely a marvelous space, with a great view. 

The honey tasting fair started today and runs until the 23rd of February. Check it out if you can! :)

Freedom

I am currently enjoying my week break from work and being a tourist in my beautiful city of Budapest. I took a walk across the Szabadság híd or 'Freedom Bridge' today, as I never am able to fully appreciate the stunning views when I am rushing to work in the morning or getting home when it is dark in the evening. I am always in a hurried state of mind during the week; always in a rush to get somewhere, so I am taking the time to just enjoy the stillness and calmness of this week. Enjoy.
