NATURA SIBERICA

I've received this special deep cleansing black detox soap containing activated charcoal from a friend who was recently introduced to a new brand, Natura Siberica which is available in Budapest through Little Siberia Shop. Traditional ethnic groups of the north used special herbs and plants from the Siberian region to preserve their youth, better their health and maintain skin and hair vitality. I'm all about trying new things in my skincare routine, although I have to be careful as I have sensitive skin and it is prone to breakouts. I gave the 'Northern Soap' a try right away and it left my skin feeling pure, clean, refreshed and moist. The product contains natural oils, however, it does not leave your skin feeling oily but supple and smooth.
The major components of the detox soap contain:

Sea buckthorn oil: nourishes the skin and increases flexibility
Schisandra (berry Ötízű): protects the skin from negative environmental influences
Cedar oil: high content of vitamin E and moisturizes, nourishes the skin
Flaxseed oil: anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties
Dwarf birch bud extract: moisturizes and restores the skin's firmness
Cloudberry extract: Anti-oxidant effect of vitamin C and omega
Cranberry extract: enhances cell metabolism, improves skin texture and elasticity
Sakhalin raspberry seed oil: anti-inflammatory, regenerating, anti-aging effects

The detox soap comes with a sponge and in order to use the product, you must start with a clean and dry face. Wet the sponge and then take a bit of the soap from the container. In circular motions, apply the soap and massage. I do this for about 2-3 minutes and then use the same sponge to rinse off the product. Pat dry and then apply serums or moisturizers. Use the detox soap if your skin needs a deep cleansing 2 times a week max. It is highly recommended for problematic skin.

BRODY STUDIOS

Brody Studios, a private member's arts club mixed with a creative and bohemian vibe hosted my recent birthday. I wanted to enjoy my evening with friends in a calm and beautiful atmosphere and looked no further than Brody Studios. In it's neoclassical building with inspiring interiors, Brody Studios is one of the places that shouldn't be overlooked when coming to Budapest. In the upstairs private room, my guests and I had the pleasure of being hosted by two attentive ladies. Sipping on champagne, Hungarian Irsai Oliver wine, tasting cheeses and eating dinner kept our evening low key but then we explored into the rest of the rooms where live music entertained. Brody Studios is known for its up-cycled furniture, stripped back walls and art work, which have been fine tuned by the artists belonging to the Brody family. A big thank you to the Brody team and to event manager, Zsofi, for her kindness and quick organization!
