Welcoming my sister and her friend to Budapest with a masquerade ball. They are only here for a week, so we are making the most of our time together. In Hungary, as well as in many countries around the world, there is a celebration called Farsang. This is similar to Carnival as it is a celebration where people dress up and scare away winter and welcome Spring. We dressed up in our glamourous masks but there were others who dressed up in witch costumes, as ballerinas and others in scary costumes. It was a fun night, thank you to Kiosk!
