MINI STYLE HACKER

Every time I come across these adorable children on Instagram or Facebook, I can't help but seem to be a little jealous of how insanely cute the kids are but I am also so impressed at how a simple concept can catch on so quickly with social media. Take ministylehacker for example: a 4 year old boy whose mother has styled her cute son to resemble or 'style hack' famous men in the media. Pharrell Williams, James Franco, Ryan Gosling and other male models. Take a peek:

LEGO

In front of St. Stephen's Basilica, in Budapest, you will find the world’s highest LEGO tower at a record of 34.67 meters tall! Many school children and visitors have come to the Cathedral to admire this tower. This is now the new official Guinness World Record. Go check it out if you can! So cool J

STREET STYLE #19

Next dose of street style inspiration. It's been so hot here this week, that all I can think about is casual days spent at the beach, near the lake and classy nights out dancing. xo

OYSHO Budapest

I can't express how excited I was when the OYSHO opening was in Budapest on Vaci ut, on May 15th. This is a beautiful Spanish store with simple and relaxed collections for the beach, working out, sexy lingerie, or collections for going out for a night on the town. They have also branched off into maternity wear. It reminds me a bit of the Canadian brand Lululemon in the sense that there is a big focus on feeling good in your skin and mind. I love a brand that promotes health and wellness on the inside and out by allowing people to take part in 'Free Yoga' events. Take a look at the exterior of the new shop on Vaci utca, Fashion street and the photos below. Go check out the store and pick up a bathing suit for Balaton ;)

Typical Polish Moms

This video is so spot on with the things that not only MY MOM says but pretty much all Polish moms say. I get a good laugh out of it and the scary thing is-I catch myself saying some of these things too!
Enjoy! I've translated it into English below:

Take that spoon out or else you'll poke your eye out! -I hear this every time I drink tea with a spoon in it...
The ocean is deep and wide.
Maybe you should go outside because the weather is nice.
Do not kick the wall!
I'm not your friend, how are you speaking to me!?
First your responsibilities then pleasures!
No metal on the tefal plans!
Go bathe, then sleep!
You treat the house like a hotel!
Do what you want (basically meaning that if you do not listen to your mom, you're going to end up miserable and she's going to tell you 'I said so')
A storm is coming, close the windows!
Do not walk around barefoot!
All I do is walk around and clean!
What others are allowed to do it's not for you!
I'm not your slave!
Mom, will you make me a sandwich? -Do it yourself. Did God not give you hands?
You're not leaving the house looking like that!
Don't sit on the pavement or else you'll get hemorrhoids.
Come for dinner or it's going to get cold (and then when you come...) -It's not ready yet!
Not the first time I'm preparing for a holiday and no body helps me.
If you don't like something, then move out.
You know what, speak like that to your friends!
In my youth, there was no internet and we survived!
Mom, I'm hungry - Dinner was served, you should have eaten.
Do not cross your eyes because they'll stay like that.
You'll remember my words.
Elbows off the table.
Go take a shower because I want to take a shower.
Child, do you know how much you cost me?
You will listen to me for as long as you live under my roof.
Do you not have any homework? You never have homework!
Eat or else you're not going anywhere!
Get up for church!
There are plenty of people who will eat, but who will prepare it?
Mom, why? -Because no! Why? -Because no I said.
Don't take your shoes off, it's so messy in our house. (It's never messy cause Polish moms are always cleaning!)
Don't give yourself a hunchback!
If 're bored then take off your clothes and watch them.
Maybe you should put your feet on the chandelier? (No feet on the table!)
Turn off the computer!
1, 2, 3, 4. It'll pass. (the storm)
Just turn off the computer, give it a rest.
We always have to wait for you.
Mom, can I have a tattoo? -Right, so that the whole neighbourhood can talk about how I am holding a criminal under my roof?
Turn off the computer!
What do you think, that I won my feet in the lottery?
If you don't clean up then I'll be throwing everything out the window!
Don't eat that, it's for the guests.
I do not care That your friends are going, you are not everyone.
Everyone got a good grade and you didn't? -But mom, you don't care about others.

Oh yes ... plenty of others but hopefully these will make you laugh for a while! Does your mama say any of these things? Any other ones?

Happy Mother's Day! :)
