Happy 10th anniversary to Hungarian fashion label USEunused! The trio of designers are celebrating their 10th birthday with the opening of a beautiful pop up shop on Sas utca 16, where you can find the latest A/W 2015 collection. Just a few steps away, you can divulge into the best selected pieces from the past 10 years from the label. I must add that A/W 2014/15 was one of my favourite USEDunused collections simply because I loved the bright red accent colours and the high waisted purple trousers. A new men's collection was highlighted at the event as well as a special preview of the Spring/Summer 2016 collection; which was inspired by the world of "seas and oceans", specifically the science fiction classic "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea". The underwater realm is replicated into the forms of the designs, in particular the hues and shapes resembling turtles, starfish, sponges and the natural tones of sand. For the first time, the designers are also using appliqued patterns onto the clothing.
The pop up store will be open until September 19th, so head over if you're near the Basilica.
