This F/W season, fashion week(end) in Budapest is going to look a little differently as Toni & Guy Fashion Week Budapest is teaming up with Central European Fashion Days. The weekend event is including talented designers from the 'Visegrad Group' - Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary - to represent their collections. Not only will it be inclusive to the fashionista crowd, but also to the general public; giving an opportunity for a larger audience and the public to see the creativity we have in these countries. The event is being raised to a more professional standard on the international market, as IMG Fashion, including New York and Berlin Fashion Week are offering their support to the smooth running of the event. Which means that CEFD is added to the calendar of the largest international fashion weeks and will have a close following!

This is exactly what I mentioned in my last observations about TGFW Budapest and am happy that Budapest has been chosen as the city for all of this to happen in. There are many designers who aren't as well known (from Eastern European countries) on an international scale, but the potential is there for them to become well known and to make Budapest a hot spot for style recognition and fashion weeks to grow with each season passing. I am looking forward to seeing the collections and designs for the S/S 15 season!
