Deák Ferenc tér, aka Fashion Street, welcomes Hungarian designer, NAPSVGAR! The past month and a half have been quite hectic for Napsugar Forgo, as her team has moved to a more central location and have launched the opening of their new downtown showroom. Packing, unpacking, organizing and rearranging years worth of items, the selection process of what can stay and what must go has now come to an end.
"I'm so excited to be located at Deák Ferenc tér 21 now. This is the place to be, now we are much more central and accessible to our customers and tourists," beamed Napsugar as we started the discussion on what her plans are for the future of her business. "I want this place to be full of energy, positive vibes and I want to be more in touch with what is going on in the city. Since becoming a mother a couple of years ago, my focus has clearly been on my son, but now I feel that I have more energy to be more active in events. I want customers to know we are here and we have a lot of great events planned for the coming months!"
"It's quite cold now in Budapest and we haven't seen temperatures like this (during winter) for many years, so we are currently focusing on selling our Autumn/Winter 2016 collection and in the next month or so, customers will be able to come and view the Spring/Summer 2017 collection. We are taking pre-orders now, for those who are optimistic that the seasons will change soon!"
"This shearling coat was specifically designed for Paris fashion week as we wanted to show off the brand in a creative way. We definitely stopped lots of people in their tracks and even had some people chasing after us to ask where the coat was from!"
Famous faces, such as Hungarian models Barbara Palvin, Vanessa and her sister Greta Axante have worn the designer's famous sunglasses, shearling coats and leather jackets in most of the famous fashion magazines. "We want our brand to be represented by strong, independent women. We are feminists, we believe in equality and we want the NAPSVGAR woman to exude confidence and put forward her own personal style, rather than follow the trend of the day."
